Hidden camera from a Danish reporter to an abortionist Morín

Trial against billionaire Morín reopens. Now it is accepted the reportage from the Danish girl recorded. It was done by two journalists from the English journal The Sunday Telegraph in 2004 with hidden camera for their reportage about Morin’s abortion facilities: “Spanish clinic faces police inquiry over late abortions“.

Minute 2: The Danish reporter phones to Barcelona; Morín himself picks up the phone.

  • Hello?
  • Hello, are you a doctor?
  • Yes, I am a doctor.
  • I call because I want an abortion.
  • From where are you calling?
  • From Denmark.

Minute 3

  • From what you have told me we can still help you. 30 weeks pregnancy, isn’t it?
  • Yes, 30 weeks. Is that a problem?
  • No, not at all, but we need you here as soon as possible.

Minute 7: the pregnant Danish reporter is now in Ginemedex, in Barcelona, and she is talking to Morín

  • Isn’t it a problem that it is so late? How many weeks were, thirty?
  • Thirty one weeks and three days. Is it a problem?
  • We have to be careful, but it’s not a problem.
  • Then, is it totally safe?
  • For you? I promise –says Morín with a solemn gesture of the hand.

[…]

  • How does it work?
  • It is just like a labor, but induced. It is a labor, but not natural, just artificial.

Minute 8

  • So, what we are doing is, first, we stop fetus’ heart –Morín explains.
  • Inside?
  • Inside, yes.

Minute 9

  • Are you sure that when the baby is born is dead? – asks Danish girl using the word «baby».
  • 300% sure.
  • What are you giving to him?
  • Is the same medicament as for a heart attack, but overdoses.

Minute 11

  • This is the form that has to be filled in; it is for those who come from England, Holland, Germany…
  • And Denmark –concludes the girl.
  • Why? –ask the Danish mate (another reporter) when she goes away to fill in the form.
  • Because, you know, it has some risks, she has to be sure… there are some moral, religious complications…
  • Here come patients from all around the world?
  • Yes, even from Australia.

Minute 13

  • I don’t see the father anymore; he just doesn’t want to have a relationship with the child –says the Danish girl.
  • And here you are – Morin answers, empathically and understanding.
  • And here I am…

Minute 20

  • Psychological test? – ask Danish girl.
  • Why?
  • It is the way we have to prove that you are, or can be, with anxiety, depression… Because law says that if you want an abortion is because you have a psychological problem so big that then we can help you –Morin explains.
  • It means that you say you have…
  • Yes, it’s bureaucracy

Minute 21

  • Law in this country –Morin explains– says that to have an abortion you have to have a severe psychological problem, and the one way to prove that is with this test. Are you sure you want to do it?
  • Yes –says the girl.
  • Do you have the money? –asks a secretary.
  • Yes, but not here, I left it in my hotel room. How much does it cost?
  • Four thousand euros.
  • Well, we are going to the hotel and then were coming back.

The girl would never come back to that abortion facility. Another reporters do come back, with a big camera on their shoulders.

  • Hi? Dr. Carlos? I’m from a Danish TV channel. I have some questions for you…
  • Hello? Welcome.
  • Are you having abortions here? Can I put you a microphone?

Minute 27

  • Law in Spain –Morin explains to the Danish reporter– says that if you have a mental disease or you are prone to have one you can try and go to different psychiatrists. There is no limit. This girl told me she has seen two of them, and the second one told her to go to a third psychiatrist.
  • What about morality?
  • That is something personal… You have your own moral, I have mine…
  • But, do you have morality?
  • You have to decide by yourself. I know what I have.

Minute 29

  • So, you cannot understand that there are people that criticize what you are doing?
  • What I do understand is that: first, I am a professional, a doctor. Second, I speak several languages. Third, I am older than you. Fourth, my beliefs are different than yours; you think one thing, I think another one. That is what’s different between you and me.

[…]

  • Some of the abortions that you perform here are from fetuses that could live outside the womb –insists the Danish reporter.
  • I am not a philosopher, I am not here to ask myself if a fetus could breathe or not…
  • Please, a bit of morality…
  • Take your morality and keep it to yourself. You have your own morality, I have mine. I have nothing to do with your morality.

Minute 30

  • The interview is done –Morin says after a phone call.
  • Done? I have more questions!
  • I will not answer them
  • Why?
  • Don’t you understand? Done!
  • I don’t understand why. Just a couple of questions more!

Minute 31

  • Can I call you with a few more questions? –insists the reporter.
  • I have my morality. I have work to do – Morin finishes at the door.

Two children are too much. It is better to kill one of them

Saturday morning, we are in front of an abortion facility in Madrid doing our job, rescuing. A couple approaches and we start to talk with them. They are about 23 years old and already have another son; now they are pregnant again. Firstly they listen to us, but when we mention that this second kid is just like the first one, they make a face and said that a second child is too much, the life is so bad… just one of them works. Finally they enter. We can not do anything. It seems that two children are too much. Jesús Gómez, Rescatadore Juan Pablo II.

But, who are they to decide who lives and who dies? Human’s miseries: I don’t want, I kill him; he is too much, I kill him… Sure, the unborn baby doesn’t vote, doesn’t talk, and doesn’t matter.(Picture: Felipe y Paulo, twins, priests: «My mum was told to have an abortion because the baby was wrong: three legs, four arms… But she didn’t want to, she chose life, although she could have had an abortion because she was supposedly in danger», says Paulo. She was pregnant of twins).

First Rescue in Dominican Republic

I just get to Santo Domingo. I will stay here a few months. I knew I was given some work also as a rescuer. On my second day on the island, someone texted me Madeleine’s phone number; Marta, my angel, sent me work to do. That baby is now in my head and in my heart, he is now depending on my, on how I can convince his mother not to have an abortion. I got to talk to her, she was preoccupied, frozen, first months of pregnancy can cause this reaction. Abortion facilities usually take advantage of this psychological state. Then I asked myself: «What am I doing here with this girl I don’t even know? I know no one here in Santo Domingo nor do I have any resources». I got in contact with some nuns, they offered her prayers… finally I contacted Charity Sisters and they offered me a solution. Meanwhile, Madeleine was frightened, she has just got married, is a university student and thinks the baby would prevent her to continue studying. She didn’t dare to tell the news to her parents. I encouraged her to be brave, her son is worth it. In the end –the moment every rescuer starts to breath normally– she told me: «I want to carry on the pregnancy!!!». Another baby saved, his life is precious. I feel so happy… Thank you, Madeleine!!. Ana de Elias, Rescuer John Paul II, now in Santo Domingo.

That day he lost the Nobel Prize

A popular show in television in France broadcasted a debate on abortion of fetuses with trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). The next day, a 10 year old kid with this disease get to Dr. Jérome Lejeune’s office. He was sobbing uncontrollably, because he had seen the tv show. The kid hugged the doctor and said: «They want to kill us, we are weak, we don’t know how to defend ourselves…». From that day Dr. Lejeune worked tirelessly to defend them.

In an International Congress of Health in New York he was nominated as a French expert about the consequences of radiation in descendence. One day, UN opens the debate about the usual argument pro-abortion: women mortality, illegal abortions… Then Dr. Lejeune, and just him, defend unborn children. That day he lost the Nobel Prize.

Angels of life

23-IMG-20151102-WA0029In this Jubilee Year, iniciatives that encourages the Works of Mercy occur in many different areas of society. One of them are Rescuers John Paul II. Patronato Gente Joven de CARF collaborate with this mission to prevent abortion among the most vulnerable population. This is the testimony of one of the recues:  http://carfundacion.es

A cashier told the mother she should have had an abortion, she answered surprisingly

down-100perfectThe cashier looked me in the eye very sad and started to tell me: «I bet you would have loved to know that your child was Down syndrome before he was born. Did you know that nowadays there are medical test that can tell you this information?». Suddenly I felt astonishment, horror and fury. I thought the worst for this person… I stared at her and I had to control myself not to react violently. Then I overcome my instant reaction, I smiled and said to her: «I know. However, it’s a little bit harder to get rid of them after they are born. Trust me, I’ve tried it…». She was surprised. I sighed and continued: «So, what you were trying to say is that it is fine to kill my own child during pregnancy, but it is not fine after the birth? I can’t see the difference. I knew EVERYTHING about my child during pregnancy. He is my son now and when I was pregnant. There is absolutely no chance to let anyone hurt my son now or from the moment he was inside my womb, although there are a lot of people who consider him as disposable».

Life is beautiful for those who are tall or small, white or black, disable or not. To destroy their lives too son is to deny for them the chance for the world to see children so incredible as Gabe is, who really lives happy». upsocl

Forced-to-abort

Another minor forced to abort

On her short life she is already carrying the weight of an abortion over her shoulders. We didn’t make it on time, her mother forced her to do it. It’s been a year since then and it’s difficult to see her. Her mother doesn’t want us to help her. Once in a while she writes us, she is not doing fine.
Today we received a new message: “Call me, it’s urgent!” She thinks she is pregnant again, and she knows that she is already mother of two children, one dead, and the other with an uncertain future. One child does not substitute another.

No help

It’s the early morning of middle August, and several rescuers are arriving to the abortion center: Alejandra, Ernesto, Álvaro and Guillermo. They start talking with different women, when a couple arrives. The girl is very young. They stop and listen how the association MásFuturo can help them and the girl gives the rescuers her phone. We call her later, and she asks us to talk with his father, since he does not know how to face this situation. That very same day she calls us to tell us that her father wants her to abort. Her boyfriend, older than her and in a comfortable economic position, also wants her to abort her child. Her mother, that was away at the moment, invites her to leave her home if she does NOT abort. She is desperate, but she doesn’t want to abort. Her parents don’t let her leave the hose, so all we can do is to talk to her through the night.
She lacks courage, she feels week. She has named her child, a child with no opportunities. It’s been 10 days since then and she has given us the phone number of a friend of hers that is in a similar situation, but that counts with the support of her mother.
